Katherine Webb and AJ McCarron, both started their career in Alabama and now they think that it would be best to tie the knot. It is like any other wedding, but this wedding will be made into reality show, wherein the two would be televised until their marriage.
The couple thought a reality show would serve them good since they would make money from the reality show to cover the expenses. Laurie Webb, Katherine Webb’s sister and junior in public relations, is going to be maid of honor.
Laurie confessed that the reality show started when the proposal was made. Adding that, the idea came from someone else. The reality show was already there so they took it. There are several producers for the show, but there is no network yet.
Alan Webb, Katherine’s father confessed that they only learned about the reality show lately. They did several interviews and find out that this reality show would be wholesome for sure. Leslie Webb noted that before some networks even started contacting them, their daughter wasn’t ready for a reality show yet.
The wedding will take place this coming July and the couple are ready. The family helps them with the venues and dresses, as stated by Leslie Webb. They are preparing for the wedding. Katherine was planning to do it in Alabama, but the timeframe won’t allow them since it came in such a short notice.
Laurie claimed that the film crew won’t be present every day, but they would shoot Katherine and McCarron on certain days when something interesting is going on, along with members of the wedding party, family and some friends. She also added that they don’t have a clue on how many episodes the show will be.
Laurie said that the show will document every special times of their life. Ala noted how professional the crew is and they are fun to work with. Adding that, he still has a hard time looking at her daughter as some kind of celebrity. For him, she is just his daughter, but he knows that it would work great on the couple as they are known to a lot of people.
The proposal takes placed in Gulf Shores, Ala., wherein Katherine thinks that they were attending a charity event. After the proposal, he took her to a restaurant where their family and friends were all waiting.
“After the proposal, Katherine still thought she was going to the event,” Laurie said. “That’s also why she thought there was cameras there.”
Laurie claimed that the engagement ring is around five carats, with pink diamonds from South Africa on the side.
