A new show is about to be produce this coming March. The said show will feature a local of Meriden that turned into a cop, who eventually becomes a lawyer in California.
Loredana Nesci is just a normal kid from Meriden; she grows up together with two brothers, father and grandparents and lived in a traditional Italian household.
Nesci’s dream was to become a lawyer, but she had to forget about her dream, when moved in to California in the late 1990s. During that time, there was a hiring at the Police Department of the California and she badly needs a job. She worked as an officer for the Los Angeles Police Department for one year before returning home to study at Quinnipiac University School of Law. She graduated in 2002.
Nesci worked for a few private firms, but eventually got tired of it and decided to go back to California to open her own law practice. It was then that she got the nick name “legal diva.”
Nesci claimed that her experience as a cop help in her practice as she was able to easily build rapport. Some people got shocked when they found out that she used to be a cop.
The reality series will be called ‘Loredana Esq.” is going to feature some of the cases she had handled. Sundance, the production company behind the show claimed that the series will look at the question “what is legal and what is right?” Some of the cases the Nesci handled where just regular people that had made a bad choice, and were treated badly.
Nesci said that one episode is about her client that got involve with identity theft. The woman dates a man that was using stolen credit cards. When the cops arrested the man, the woman also got arrested and got treated as a criminal.
Nesci’s father, John Nesci, immediately flew to California to film three episodes. John Nesci is very proud that all his children now work in the law enforcement department.
Loredana siblings, Sal and Robert Nesci, both work for the Meriden Police Department. John claimed that all his children are hard working and that is the reason why they got what they deserve.
John added that helping people is just a family tradition that has been passed out to them from generation to generation. Now, it is his children’s turn to help people and they won’t disappoint the people asking for help.
