Amy Childs got removed from The Only Way Is Essex as the producers believe that her celebrity lifestyle was too far from 'real life'. Though, she already decided to quit the reality show before entering Channel 5’s reality show, she got a chance to come back in her first reality show. However, believe that she is unfit for TOWIE because of her celebrity life is too far from real life.
Now, that she discovered her fame, everyone may be thinking that Amy was doing just well. However, that is not the case since it has some pitfalls.
Amy, together with her family got subjected to harassment from unknown people. During her 18 months of being famous, the 21-year-old and her family got vandalize and robbed by some people.
She revealed that her family's home in Brentwood got burgled, their cars had been damaged or stolen, while her father Billy Snr's business had also been targeted.
In an interview with OK magazine, she revealed how her life got turned into a living hell. She added that they got terrorized.
First, her car got vandalized with a ‘for sale’ sign. After just one week, their house got robbed while their dog got attack by someone.
A few weeks had passed, and it was her father’s business got robbed. Her father loses three of his vans, together with a few plants and flowers.
Amy claimed that the nightmare seems to be happening all over. It looks like it is not going to stop any more.
All of this only happened when she got famous. She admitted feeling guilty for what had happened with her family.
She subbed that she did not deserve this as she is only a normal girl from Essex enjoying her life. She could not understand why it had to happen on her.
Although she has allowed paparazzi into her front garden to take photos, she is now considering getting electronic gates and 24-hour security at the family home.
In the meantime, Childs and her cousin Harry Derbidge are about to star in a new reality show. The new show is going to be based on ‘The Simple Life’ by Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie back in 2003 to 2007.
The former TOWIE stars are going to embark on a series of quest that will require them to live an ordinary life just like what ‘The Simple Life’ stars were doing back in the days. The new show is going to be named 'The Simpleton Life'.
