After James Argent’s break up with his longtime girlfriend Lydia Bright, Arg has been having a hard time finding a replacement for his ex girlfriend.
But it looked like that thing was about to change after his mate Joey Essex set him up on a blind date with the lovely Yasmin.
However in Sunday's episode of The Only Way Is Essex, the 25-year-old ended up doing a runner after his second date with her took a serious turn after she introduced him to her family.
Arg was braved enough to ask Yasmin for a second date.
He successfully secured a date from the lovely woman. Yasmin invited Arg to her home that same evening. Arg makes sure he looks his best as he wore a purple jumper with a white shirt bow tie and trousers.
But the ITV2 reality show star got disappointed to find out that she wasn’t alone. He soon found himself being introduced to her mother, father and brother.
To make things even more embarrassing, Arg had to sit in between her parents. With the father wasting no time to asked him about his intentions to her daughter.
Luckily for Arg that Yasmin was quick to cut in: 'This is our second date Dad!'
Arg then tried to make sense wherein he added: 'We've got similar interests and I plan to treat your daughter like a lady.'
But since James was uncomfortable with the whole situation, he then lied that his friend joey sent him a text message and his friend needed him. James immediately runs down the road to get away from the house.
In tonight's episode, James 'Diags' Bennewith took it upon himself to tell Arg's former girlfriend Gemma Collins, while in Faces nightclub, that his frined is still in love with her.
Diags said: 'He told me "I still have feelings for Gemma like I like her and I still love her.'
To which the 31-year-old asked: 'Tell me word for word what he said?', and then confidently added: 'I know he still likes me'.
At that time, Arg was already there so he joined the two in their conversation, which prompts Diags to leave them to talk.
While trying to hide her feelings, Gemma revealed what she had just been told, Arg laughed: 'I don't know why he said that. But I could easily go home with you especially because I've not pulled.'
Not sure if Arg was serious with what he said, Gemma confessed how she missed him and had offered him a ride home.
