Several rumors of breaking had arisen, and now Emily Maynard and her fiancé Jef Holm went public with their breakup.
In an emotional statement, the reality show couple admitted the truth to the public; the two talks about their passionate love for one another and don't mention any reason for a split.
Interview with People magazine, Maynard said: 'I do hope you will respect our privacy and allow us the time we need to heal...'
'I am sorry to tell you that Jef and I have, indeed, parted ways,' Maynard says. 'It was a very difficult and heartbreaking decision.
'As you know, at first I wasn't sure that I should even be The Bachelorette, but I am a hopeless romantic and I do believe in the show. I have no regrets because I did find love and shared an incredible journey with a really special person – and you know what, we tried our best because the love between us was so real.
Meanwhile, Holm, said: 'Meeting Emily on The Bachelorette was an incredible experience, we've had quite the journey. I've never loved someone so much in my whole life; Emily is the best person and mom I have ever met. She opened up her world to me, and I fell in love with her, [her daughter] Ricki, her family and the Hendricks.
He added: 'Emily and I are great friends and I hope we can continue to be friends forever. Everyone wants a salacious story to break, but the truth is we are just two people who fell in love and tried our hardest to make it work. I will always love her...'
In the last few weeks, Holm and Maynard have spent most of their time apart.
Holm, who relocated to Charlotte last month, has spent a lot of time in Los Angeles to promote his company, People Water. Maynard, meanwhile, has been focusing her energy with daughter Ricki, 7, in Charlotte.
According to Wetpaint, the pair finally separated ways.
'It just happened,' the source told the website. 'They’re not together anymore. They’re probably going to announce it soon, they just need to figure out how to do it...'
'They’re telling people it's over,' they added. 'They were both too unhappy to go on...'
This is not the first time that this happens as they have come close to parting ways before; after reports emerged claiming Emily was texting a certain pro footballer. The footballer was allegedly to be Oakland Raiders back-up quarterback Matt Leinart, and Holm got intimate with his ex-girlfriend.
