Because of his contribution to the recent event, Jubilee weekend celebrations, he had attracted universal praise. Now there are rumors that he will be knighted next year.
And it appears that the good news doesn’t stop there as Gary Barlow might acquire another reward for his hard work.
Reports claimed that BBC want to signed the former Take That star on the their judging panel next year.
Last Monday, Gary orchestrated the Jubilee concert and had attracted an audience of 17 million for the BBC, this is the biggest of any programme this year.
The Mirror said: 'He has completely free range with us in terms of projects and is not ordered around by someone like Simon Cowell.'
The website added that for now he might be working with The X Factor, but next year will be different since The Voice want to get him for their new panel of judges as they hope to save their rating.
Perhaps, this move will make sense to Barlow since there are reports that Simon will not want him on next year’s panel of judges for the ITV show.
According to a spokesman for BBC, Cohen has enjoyed working with Barlow on both the concert and On His Majesty's Service documentary.
However, the other network will not give Barlow that easily to their rival network. They are prepared to fight for their talent.
BBC is certainly aware what a Gary Barlow could do to their rating. They have seen only seven million tune into The Voice final, compared with 13.1 watching Ashleigh and Pudsey win Britain's Got Talent last time. However, with Barlow’s help, the rating’s result might change in their favor.
As of now, Gary's Jubilee song, Sing is now at number 11, but right after the amazing performance at the concert, sales raised.
According to Midweek sales information compiled by the Official Charts Company shows, Barlow and his Commonwealth Band are more than likely to make it a double with their album holding on to the number one position.
Barlow wrote the song, Sing with Andrew Lloyd Webber as the official Diamond Jubilee song and it is currently outselling its nearest rival - Scream by Usher - by a margin of three to one.
It is believed that Gary has a 1-6 odds to be knighted next year.
Last Monday, he told the crowd in the Mall: 'It was an amazing day for our country.'
Later he added that is was the 'biggest night of my life.'
'It’s going to take something special to top it. A massive thanks to all the artists for being so brilliant and so generous with their time,' he added.
