The loved-up pair was going to a Halloween store in Calabasas to stock up on supplies ahead of the spooky holiday at the end of the month.
The 30-year-old X Factor panellist was dressed down in a loose-fitting white top, small denim shorts and pink flip-flops.
The Smart car’s semi-automatic transmission system indicates that driving is a little simpler as there’s no clutch pedal that could be push, which may appeal to the Hold It Against Me hitmaker.
As the two were walking, Jason Trawick was particularly protective because he walked a subtle step behind Britney as the pair ran their errands at the store.
The eco-friendly specifications of the car are expected to attract Britney, but the compact size of the vehicle indicates that only two can fit in the ar.
The car can be parked even easier when the singer tries to get in and out of a tight spot.
The former child star took her sons, Sean Preston, 7, and Jayden, 6, out for lunch at a local McDonalds restaurant earlier on in the day before she dropped them off and went on a Halloween shopping spree with Jason.
The Louisiana-born star probably wanted to surprise the kids with the treats that the couple bought.
Meanwhile, Britney has been proven to be a popular judge on the second season of The X Factor – alongside show creator Simon Cowell, Record Executive LA Reid and fellow pop star Demi Lovato.

According to Contact Music, Britney has been on an eco-friendly mission for several years, saying in 2006: ‘Since becoming a mum I have become so green. I am making sure that all my stuff is organic, and I get rid of rubbish in a green way. Actually it is fun.’
