Like many other contestants on the Fox Network talent show, she went down despite her obvious talent and stage-ready persona, but that doesn’t stop CeCe Frey from being the main attraction.
Whilst easy-going cowboy Tate Stevens enjoyed his victory in the same humble fashion as he undertook the competition. The battle for the most alluring at the X Factor wrap party pitted between runners up Fifth Harmony and CeCe.
CeCe opted for a jewel-encrusted sheer and short bodysuit which just screams 'look at me... now' while the Fifth Harmony girls were remarkably different outfits in complementary shades.
Ally Brooke wore a fitted pink lace dress, Dinah Jane Hansen, meanwhile, styled out a red skirt with black faux fur jacket, Lauren Jauregui jazzed up her little black dress with a white jacket; Camila Cabello chose an oxblood top and peplum trousers and Normani Hamilton rocked metallic scarlet.
The group known as Fifth harmony were assembled by Simon Cowell after failing to make it into the competition as solo stars but are now hurtling towards a record deal with their Syco boss mentor.
The 53-year-old hinted to Hollywoodife.com that the girl group Fifth Harmony is going too signed by Sony.
He said: 'There is such a market now for this girl band I believe; I think where there’s boybands there’ll be girl bands. We may have someone who can fit that gap!'
But Simon isn’t as sweet to Demi's contestant CeCe, 21. He told her that she wasn’t worth the $5 million recording contract.. but that doesn't seem to have dented her enthusiasm.
Based on her daring outfit, she seemed to be confident about herself.
The blonde teamed the revealing bodysuit, which used rhinestones to preserve her modesty with a winter white faux fur jacket and hat.
CeCe got the right to milk her final moments in the spotlight but showed off like this might just be why viewers were turned off by her in the end.
At the end of the contest, the 37-year-old country singer Tate Stevens beat teenager Carly Rose Sonenclar into second place to scoop the top prize of a $5m record contract on X Factor USA.
After Fifth harmony had been eliminated from the competition, the two went head to head for the top spot.
Whilst crying, he Stevens said: 'First and foremost I've got to thank the man upstairs for taking care of me.
'My family, all the country music fans, God bless you and thank you so very much for all the votes. This is the best day of my life.'
