The 30-year-old took the title right after winning the audience's share of the final vote following the time that the judges votes gets her tied her with fellow competitor Debra Stephenson. However, it was the EastEnders star's Jive, along with partner Vincent Simone, which helped Charlie dance her way to win the competition in the end. Blue's Simon Webbe started the show with Katya Virshilas. With the help of bandmates Anthony and Duncan in the audience, he danced the Cha Cha Cha to Slade's Merry Xmas Everyone. The singer had a hard time doing a rough routine as a man who comes home to his wife who has been arranging the dinner table. He showed the audience how confident he was wearing a purple short-sleeved shirt with Kaya in matching purple dress. The routine ended with the couple sitting down with a newspaper and certainly overwhelmed the judging panel. Len Goodman said that it can be compared to a fresh snow, sharp like the air on Christmas morning, hot like a mulled wine. While Alesha Dixon noted that the performance was strong, animalistic, totally in control, and performed with confidence. Bruno Tonioli added that though it is Christmas, it feels like it was already midsummer. Craig Revel Horwood refers to the girl as an Amazon since the routine is so powerful than the other dancers who have dance before them. Shortly after the first performance, comedian Debra Stephenson cam e next along with partner Ian Waite for their take on American Smooth. The two dance to the Christmas classic Baby, it is Cold Outside Debra sported a sparkling silver dress with partner Ian in a grey tux. The duo took to the dancefloor beginning the routine on a chais longue and performing their routine with panache. The routine finished with a successful lift, and returned to the chais longue, and it was an inspiring turn which manages to give them 37 points. Hi-De-Hi actress Su Pollard gave the evening's light relief along with her partner Anton Du Beke for their own version of the Foxtrot Anton got covered with snow and was warming his hands on a fake fire as Su arrived on a sleigh, Bing Crosby's White Christmas playing as they got stuck. The stars were both dressed in white. Afterwards, Anton stripped off Su's white dress so that it could reveal a mint green dress. Next was Barry McGuigan who got partnered with Erin Boag. Erin dressed in a red dress as the duo danced to a jazzed up version of classic carol Jingle Bells. The former boxing champion felt uncomfortable as he lacked finesse and ambled along at times; however, the reaction that he got from the judges was positive. The last contestant that performed in BBC One reality dance contest and eventually won the contest was actress Charlie Brooks with her partner Vincent Simone.
