This season, the most controversial contestants so far in X Factor is Christopher Maloney, who receives mostly negative comments from the judging panel and being booed on an almost weekly basis. But Christopher Maloney wasn’t backing off as he wants to prove Tulisa Contostavlos and Louis Walsh that he can make it in the music industry. Both judges had given MAloney a hard time. And it isn't just Tulisa and Louis insulted the Liverpudlian hopeful's rant, with the 34-year-old singer maintaining he has had the 'worst time' out of any other X Factor contestant to date. Speaking about upcoming performance at Liverpool's Empire Theatre on Tuesday night, Christopher told his fans he is hopeful he will be crowned winner of the ITV1 talent contest. He said: 'It's been great being back in Liverpool because the support I've had back here has been incredible. 'I've had the worst time out of anybody in regards of critique and lies told about me with people making-up crazy stories. 'But I'm in the final three now so hopefully the next time I come back to Liverpool I'll be crowned the winner of the X Factor, so fingers crossed.' Christopher added: 'I want to prove Tulisa and Louis wrong about me the most because they've given me such a hard time.' Saturday night's X Factor final, is going to see the wannabe take to the stage alongside his mentor, Gary Barlow. He said: 'I've got so many surprises, but I can't say anything.' Throughout his time on the show, Christopher never got a positive comment from the judging panel. In fact, his own mentor says he wanted James Arthur to win the ITV1 Talent show. But this wasn’t the only thing that the former cruise ship entertainer had to go through as there were fans that sent him death threats. Chris had tried to end the speculation that he has been voting for himself in a bid to stay in the competition, he insisted that he can't afford to pay the cost of a vote as he doesn’t even have the money to pay his bills. He told heat magazine: 'I'm not getting an income at The X Factor and I'm missing it. 'I've been getting demand letters for a loan that I took out and I'm like, "How can I afford to vote for myself when I can't even afford to pay the bills?" I honestly haven't got the time. Or the credit.' Christopher will go head to head with James Arthur and Jahmene Douglas in the X Factor final.
