Derry Mensah may be now considered as among the top contestant of the reality show, X Factor. He manages to impressed the judge with his singing prowess when sang in front of the judges.
After his performance for the night, Judge Kelly Roland bended down on her knee and tells him, how much she loves him.
However, later on the ITV1 reality TV Talent show contestant revealed about dark past behind him. Back, when he was younger, he got convicted of robbery. Now, his 15 year old victim shares his experience with Derry.
Luke Herron claimed that he is the victim, who led the police to catching Derry back then. The X Factor contestant served 18 months inside the ells because of the said crime.
Luke tells it all he revealed that Derry followed all the way through the train until no one got left inside the train except Derry and him. Derry then approaches him and told him to give the cellphone and watch to Derry, or Luke is going to end up in the 10 o’clock news. Derry was not that big, but Luke is a short man. He had no choice, but to hand down his watch and cellphone to Derry.
As Luke continues with his story, Dailymail learns that Derry followed Luke all the way to the train. There, he waited until all the passengers have left the train. The train now left with Derry and Luke. The X Factor contestant lowly approaches him and told him to hand down his watch and cellphone. He refuses to give it, but Derry was persistent. This time, he hid his hand on a bag and said that Luke is going to end up in the news if he is not going to give him what he wants. Luke got scared and gave his belongings to the suspect.
Afterwards, Derry called on his friend and bra about how he manages to get the cellphone and watch from his victim. Luke heard everything that Derry told his friend. He also heard the most important thing from Derry – Derry spoke about where he is going to pull over.
Luke then went down the train and alerted the police on where Derry is going to stop. When Derry arrived at his destination, the police were waiting for him. He got arrested, but the police could not found any gun. Derry claims that he does not own any gun.
Derry claimed that his sentenced paved a way to give up his life of crime.
