He was only 10 years old that time when the incident happened. Her mother admitted that she had left the family worried when she left for three days before the time of death.
Joey told Now magazine he does not have a clue on where is her mom. Her dad told him that her mommy will be back.
At first, he thought that her mommy was spending his time in the hotel.
When his father decided to break the news that his mother is already dead, he got a hard time taking the passing of her mother.
He remembers that as he opened the door, his father picked him up and told him that her mother was dead. For a little boy like him, it was the biggest shock of his life.
However, he thought that the whole thing was just a joke. He was upset and cried for a while; he thought that her mother will be back.
It took him more than five years to accept the fact that her mother committed suicide. His sister know what had happened, but choose not to speak about it.
