It is a terrible day for one of the contestants of the reality TV show, I am a Celebrity. Freddie Starr got rushed to the nearest hospital after complaining that he is suffering a severe allergic reaction to meat of camel.
This is a serious day for the comedian as he got strapped in a strapped up to some oxygen and as he got emergency medical treatment.
Starr was last seen gasping into a mask while sitting on a chair between the trees as on-site medics tended to him.
He got taken to the hospital and is going to be kept there for more trials, even though it is unclear whether he has plans in rejoining the ITV reality TV show.
Doctors rushed to Starr's aide right after the Greasy Spoon Bushtucker Trial as Freddie eats the most awful food in the world.
Before feeling something, he had eaten a five-course-meal throughout the trial, which includes camel's toe, a rotten egg, mealworms, mice tails, pig's anuses and turkey testicles.
When the challenge got finished, he seemed fine while walking back to the camp. He even mocked Mark Wright because the guy could not stand eating the five-course meal.
However, he said that he feels bad. The medics rushed to Freddie aide. Shortly right after he got taken to the nearest hospital.
Fatima Whitbread got upset upon knowing what had happened with one of her camp mates. She said that she had grown up watching him, and Starr would always made her laugh.
According to an ITV spokesman, Starr currently receives treatment in a hospital. No one knows yet what had made him ill.
Doctors believe that it has something to do with cardiac arrest since he has a history of the illness.
The doctor added that what had happened to Starr was probably a reaction to a bark of a tree.
The jungle is an alien environment so problems like what had occurred now expected to happen. The celebrities might be watched 24 hours, but it does not mean that it would save them from unforeseen circumstances.
It is thought that Freddie begun to feel the effects of his allergic reaction two hours after tackling a Bush Tucker Trial called Greasy Spoon along with Mark Wright.
A source stated that all the food got tested first by a real people before the celebrities ate the food.
They even raised culture cockroaches for the show so that it would be free from harmful bacteria.
However, it does not rule out anything as doctors are also testing the food for contamination.
