Last Sunday, Gary Barlow got very furious with judge Louis Walsh because of the latter’s decision to take the decision to a deadlock.
Well, that is just part of a history now as two judges are now fine with each other, but despite offering an olive branch to the Irish music mogul at the starting of Saturday's live show, it wasn't long before the pair were starts to clash again.
Later that night, Gary criticized Louis for making a bad song choice for Union J the previous week, with the latter blaming Take That singer of being 'deaf'.
Prior to the contestants' performances, hosts Dermot O'Leary asked if they are OK with each other after last week’s controversy.
Gary was furious when Louis took the Sunday results show to deadlock instead of saving singer Carolynne Poole.
The 41-year-old ended up storming off the stage when Dermott announced that Carolynne would go home after she receives the lowest votes.
Speaking to camera prior to the show started, Gary said: 'Sunday night was a disaster. To be honest, I'm having problems looking at Louis at the moment, let alone talking to him.'
On the judging panel, Dermot gave Louis a hard time over his failure to choose between Carolynne and Rylan, but Gary decided to make peace.
The Take That star reached over to the former Westlife manager, Gary said: 'Absolutely. Its a new day Louis, shake hands.'
Dermot joked: 'Good for you... I haven't. Nine years!'
When the contestants’ performed, the two began hitting on each other. Louis dubbed Gary's act Christopher Maloney: 'Very cruise ship, very cabaret, very pub singer. It was a lazy song choice. It was a little bit cheesy for me.'
Gary retaliated and told him: 'Don't be stupid.'
Soon after, it was Gary’s turn to attacked Louis's poor song choice for Union J the previous week and said it was good that their mentor hadn't had too much impact into their song choice this week.
Gary also had it in for Louis when he confessed that District3’s rendition of All-4-One's I Swear didn’t make an impact.
He told the trio: 'The harmonies were off. The song was in the wrong key...'
Louis then told him he was 'deaf', but Gary said: 'I'm talking Louis! I'm very disappointed tonight.'
Louis verdict soon came and he told Gary that the latter was deaf.
Gary retaliated back by criticizing Louis again when the latter's final group MK1 performed Jackson Five's I Want You Back.
Branding their performance 'a little bit Glee', he added: 'Don't let Louis have too much input into what you sing.'
When Louis finally got his chance to get his own back when Gary's act Kai Sones sang Rihanna and Eminem's duet I Love The Way You Lie.
Louis said there was 'something missing' from the performance, which prompts Gary to say: 'You can't just say there's something missing.'
The Irishman responded: 'I got bored. It's called the X Factor Gary... Gary all the other judges agree. You're doing something wrong here.'
