ITV chiefs aren’t finished with the lineups as they were two slots left to fill. A source said: 'Helen was one of our top picks, gorgeous, funny, and she will be a real hit with viewers.'
Flanagan quit her role as Rosie Webster on the ITV soap in February, recently retreated to her native north after her boyfriend Scott Sinclair was moved to Manchester City, from Swansea.
But despite returning to her old stomping ground, Helen is reportedly scared that she doesn’t have a career left as her last acting was six months ago.
A friend of Flanagan told the Daily Star: 'The work she expected to roll in since February simply hasn’t and she’s worried the ambitions she had might now be wrecked.
'Helen decided to leave Corrie because she had had enough and wanted to move on with her life.
'Even if Scott wasn’t on the scene, she would still have left – it had got to that point.'
Currently, Myleene remains as the Queen of the Jungle after impressing viewers as she showered in the jungle wearing her - now famous - white bikini in 2006.
After she had left the jungle, she was offered a modeling contract from Marks and Spencer. Up to now, she still holds the company’s name under her belt.
Since then, many had tried to emulate her bikini poised in the jungle. Some of the celebrities who had emulated her was former Page 3 girl Nicola McLean in 2008 and, last year, former Playboy model Emily Scott, have tried to emulate her - and there have been many pretenders to the throne.
This week, Helen flaunted her killer curves as she posted a series of sexy snaps to her Twitter page.
Sporting extremely skimpy baby blue sheer underwear with hot pink detailing, the WAG displayed her killer curves in all their glory - and was clearly desperate for her 110,000 followers to take note.
Rudely pulling the strap of her Agent Provocateur bra, the star stared amazed the camera man.
When her boyfriend talks about Real Madrid, she wrote on her Twitter page: 'Yey! So happy my bfs coming home tonight so used to having him around.'
