What do Marcus Collins and Rebecca Ferguson have in common? The answer is obvious as they are both from Liverpool and they were both runners-up on the X Factor. Every people in their town is expecting them to sing together.
The two singers were enjoying the festive break since they turned up at club PlayGround for the Boxing Day party last night - and ended up doing an impromptu duet.
Collins, 23 and Ferguson, 25, joined forces when the Jackie Wilson classic Higher and Higher came on because it was the same song that Collins sang in the final on this year's show.
According to onlookers, Collins got into the limelight when the track came on, and he just began to sing.
They claimed that Collins loved the attention, and it was great seeing him singing with Rebecca Ferguson, as well. It could be duet that they have seen since it got the best X factor finalist since the last two years.
The mother of two looks glamorous that night. She had braved the cold December weather for her night out and wore a bright yellow floor-length dress which got cut out at the chest and included a thigh-high split.
The singer dressed in her long dark hair, in a loose wave, and carried a black and silver clutch bag as she made her way inside as the same time she was wearing purple high heels.
Collins wore a sleek black suit, but he did show off his lighter hairstyle that he has recently dyed.
The former hairdresser teamed his two-piece with a crisp white shirt and a skinny black tie.
The two ITV reality stars are back in their hometown for the Christmas period but clearly could not refuse a night out.
Collins was eager in having a chat with Ferguson so that he could gain some advice from her about her time after losing in the reality show.
Despite losing from X Factor, Ferguson has already experienced success ever since she releases her debut album earlier this month that reached number three in the charts.
However, things did not go well as Ferguson was expecting since her first single from the record did not do so well.
Nothing's Real But Love got released on November 20 but only manage to get into the number ten spot.
However, despite these statistics, Ferguson is still in a position to guide Marcus and advise him on what his next best move should be.
Back in 2010 she reached the finals, but got beaten by winner Matt Cardle.
Right after the show, Ferguson got signed by Simon Cowell's record label Syco.
