The BBC One reality dancing TV show is about to going to start next year, but two of the oldest gals on Strictly Come Dancing had difficulties with each other.
Sources say that the two are competing for the position of leading lady for the programme on Friday.
The first time, that things heat up on the dancing floor is when the two got paired up for group dance that will be the one of the first act of the reality TV show. The whole drama takes place and filmed three weeks ago.
According to BBC, Miss Dell’Olio, 50, who wore a low-cut shimmering green dress studded with diamante, was not glad that she is going to be dancing alongside with 64-year-old grandmother and former Tory MP Mrs. Currie, who got dressed in a somewhat more matronly blue gown, as she was not glamorous enough to be able to dance besides her.
It is said that the two women were performing a section of a practice wherein the 14 celebrities paired up and expected to strut down the middle of the dance floor in sync, flanked by the other contestants.
Reports say that Miss Dell’Olio was not happy about the arrangement. She immediately turns to the choreographers and told them her problem. She claims that the other lady is not glamorous enough to dance alongside with her.
Nancy was quite vocal with her opinion and had asked for other celebrity partners, who are much younger. However, the choreographers told Dell’Olio she can not argue about the issue anymore, as it got already decided. The management want a dance routine were the two old gals are going to meet in the middle of the dance floor. They would then give each other a “bitchy” look, and then turn on their heels while walking down the middle of the other dancers.
Upon finding out about the statement that her dance partner released, Mrs. Currie says that she was expecting someone of the status of Dell’Olio would not care who she would be dancing with.
She says she is old enough to become Dell’Olio’s mother. She is 15 years older than Dell’Olio and perhaps doubles her size. Most women, who see her, would think about messing up with Currie.
The heat between the two looks like that it would take a long time, as revealed Mrs Currie had an idea of snubbing a drinks party that is going to be thrown by Miss Dell’Olio this coming week.
