IN spite of strength in numbers of the district voting, Janet Devlin lost her place in The X Factor semi-final last night.
Following the time that MIsha B battles with another ITV reality show contestant in the bottom two, it appears her native Ireland does not have the power to save her.
The winning comes as a surprise since she forgot the lyrics to her first song last night while performing Hanson track MMMBop in the Guilty Pleasures round.
The redhead performed well in the sing-off, which taps into the innocence of her very first audition with her own version of Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol.
However, as Misha B belted out a hit from the Fame soundtrack, which mails her an adaptation of Out Here On My Own by Irene Cara, it got clear who was the judge would choose to save.
Judge Louis Walsh admitted that their job as a judge gets tougher and tougher. He is taking everything into consideration so that he would not make a terrible decision on choosing, who to send home. He chooses Janet to send home based on the last night performance and the sing-off.
Fellow panelist Tulisa Contostavlos followed his lead, by basing her decision on the person who has a career right after the show, who is going to sell records and sellout arenas.
She also chooses Janet to be sent home.
Kelly Rowland was not fond of the two decisions as she chooses Misha B. to send home.
Since Gary Barlow was not present to make his decision, Dermot Leary sent Janet home since she got the most votes between Misha B. and herself.
However, when O'Leary later quizzed Barlow, he told him that he already sent Janet home.
Janet got confused and mentioned that she can not wait to get out of the reality show and get her music out the street.
The show started with guest arrivals from Olly Murs and Jessie J, ahead of the live show finalists sang charity single Wishing On A Star, which saw the return of Craig Colton and Sophie Habibis.
JLS and One Direction coupled the contestants onstage, following the time that they got called during the last minute by Simon Cowell in a bid to boost sales on the track in honor of Together For Short Lives.
Dermot says Good news. The chancellor has decided in waiving VAT on the single, so all money is going to go to charity.
Only four contestants got left to compete in the semi-final next week. They are Little Mix, Amelia Lily, Marcus Collins and Misha B.
