Yesterday, the Jersey Shore star Snooki, gave birth to a baby boy at a New Jersey hospital.
Snooki and her fiancé named their first born as Lorenzo Dominic LaValle. The baby weighs 6lbs, 5oz.
The MTV star tweeted following the birth: 'I am SO IN LOVE with my son Lorenzo Dominic ! I had my little man last night, healthy at 6lbs! HE'S MY WORLD!'
Snooki receive lots of well wishes from fans, later on Snooki added: 'Thank you all for your love and support!! Lorenzo loves you guys already!'
A spokesperson for Snooki told MTV: 'The world just got another Guido!!!'.
MTV was happy about the recent happening with their biggest star and said: 'We couldn't be happier for Nicole and Jionni on the healthy delivery of their baby boy!
'We look forward to Lorenzo's first trip to the Jersey Shore and can't wait to see his first animal print onesie.'
After her labour, the reality star tweeted several pictures with the with the caption 'fierce'.
The fierce caption refers to a trio of big cats - a lion, tiger and cheetah.
The rumor about her labour surfaced after Snooki was seen checking into the maternity unit at her local hospital.
TMZ said: 'We're told she is at a hospital in New Jersey now and is expected to deliver her little meatball to the world some time in the near future.'
Before the labor, the Jersey Shore star had twitted: 'I'm a balloon waiting to pop' as she prepared for the birth of her first child.
Snooki and fiancé Jionni LaValle first announced that they are soon to be parents back in May.
They claimed that they were anticipating a boy for their first child, which they planned to name Lorenzo.
Earlier this week, Snooki confessed she got worried because she would be entering a new stage in her life.
In an interview with In Touch Weekly magazine, Snooki said: 'I’m nervous that I’m not going to be a good mom. I just really hope I know what I’m doing!'
The reality even assumed that despite being famous for partying and drinking on Jersey Shore, her experience with pregnancy is crazier than anything she felt during her time on the MTV show.
She said: 'At the Shore, you’re going to hook up, get into a fight or go to jail. You only have three options. But being pregnant you have no idea what’s going on!'
After the birth, the pint-sized star will go back for the second season of Jersey Shore.
