John Kerwin - John Kerwin was born in New York on the 4th January 1973 and has spent much of his life in front of the camera and audiences. His career actually started at the Catch A Rising Star comedy stage where he attended as a youngster and grew immediate interest in the show business industry.

 
 
John Kerwin was born in New York on the 4th January 1973 and has spent much of his life in front of the camera and audiences. His career actually started at the Catch A Rising Star comedy stage where he attended as a youngster and grew immediate interest in the show business industry. He actually performed alongside the likes of Ray Romano, Rose O'Donnell and Jon Stewart. Kerwin studied creative writing at Cornell University. Upon graduation he moved to Los Angeles in order to try and progress his with his career and love of show business. He got a job as the house emcee at the Hollywood Improv. During his time here he continued to headline at numerous comedy clubs throughout the country and he used this platform as a way to care out his comic style. John made a name for himself on local television when he started TV Series "Meet Your Favorite Stars". The theme being celebrities and looking into why the country loves them so much. He pretended to be a number of stars in this series including Lenny Kravitz and Ben Affleck. It was commissioned for a follow series in which John pretended to be a news reporter and interviewed people for a number of different segments. This proved so popular that it led on to time being give his own show. Broadcast once a month, The John Kerwin Show on the Time Warner Cable Network has proved so popular it has had over 60 episodes spanning 8 years. John also hosted pilots for The Yesterday Show with John Kerwin. The idea for this show was co-created with John and he was involved in the writing team. This was a retro style talk show giving a different look and feel to the theme shows that we are all used too. There were a number of well known names on board including Cheryl Ladd, Kathy Griffin, Dick Cavett and Charo. There were a number of well known people involved behind the scenes of these pilots too. Including Liz Plonka (Award winning director of the Late Night with Conan O'Brien Show for seven years amongst others) directed the show and our-time Emmy nominee Gabe Abelson was a big part of the writing team.
