This is a sad day for the X Factor judge as they got forced to send home one of their favorite contestants. They have sent home Johnny Robinson even if he is clearly one of the most loved character in the contest. The ITV reality show also sent home packing the group “The Risk”.
Johnny Robinson pitted against fellow over 25 singer Kitty Brucknell.
Robinson chooses to sing the Righteous Brothers ‘Unchained Melody while Kitty sings a version of Kelly Clarkson's Beautiful Disaster.
Mentor Louis Walsh faced with a hard decision since he like the two. At the end, he had chosen Robinson to send home since Kitty always bring something new in front of the judges.
Tulisa said that he likes the way how Johnny performs but, she believe that people want to see more of Kitty, so she had to send Johnny home.
Kelly said that she believe that Kitty is going to provide something more in the competition, so she is sending home Johnny.
It is clear that Johnny Robinson is going home tonight, so Gary Barlow said that Johnny is one of the nicest people in the competition.
After the announcement, that Johnny Robinson was going home, Walsh and Barlow seen with teary eyes.
Walsh then added that Robinson got potential, and he got the character of a good singer. He had known that this guy is going to have a terrific career someday.
Robinson thanked everyone for supporting him.
While Robinson and Brucknell had to sing their way to the next week’s contest. The group, The Risk got no choice since they got the lowest vote for the night. They got immediately sent home.
The group’s exit is a shocking revelation since they are one of the most favorite singers expected to win the contest.
Many speculate that their low rating is because of the changes that had occurred in the group. The group had replaced one of their main singers. Ashley Baptiste replaced by Ashford Campbell.
Despite the pitiful ending, the members of the group were pretty positive minded about their lost in the competition.
Another shocking revelation for the night is that Frankie Cocozza made it to the next week’s competition despite the fact considered as the black sheep of the competition. The carefree teenager sings his version of the Black Eyed Peas ‘I Got A Feeling’.
The results show comes following the time that X Factor managed to beat Strictly Come Dancing in the ratings war on Saturday night.
