Matt got sent to the hospital when he suffered a blow on the head when they were practicing the ‘spin neck’. Good thing that the he got some immediate attention from the attending physician of the show. He undergoes a few stitches prior to returning to the competition this evening. The Dancing On Ice judges gave them score 26.5 out of a possible 30 - and top the leaderboard.
After they had done the routine that cause her partner to be injured, the blonde beauty revealed that she would rather perform the headbangers 14 times then to do the spin neck maneuver once again.
Matt thanked the attending physicians Christopher Dean and Jayne Torvill for their medical assistance and care. He adds that because he got the best doctor in the world that he was able to get back in the reality show. He even boasted about not having any scars on his forehead.
Robin gave a 9, who credits the pair as 'all-encompassing', while Katarina, who also gave a 9, said that she had to say Wow every time that she watched the two performed. She added that the performance was theatrical and even dark and exceptionally strong.
She claimed that Matt can add three more scars to his face as he is still handsome even if he has a few scars.
However, Louie was not happy with the performance. He suggested that the performance suffered because the pair was hesitant od executing it because of what had happened earlier.
Jorgie cried when she accidentally cut Matt between the eyes with her blade as they were practicing the neck spin.
She got devastated, as it was her boots that swiped across Matt’s head. She went to the aid of her partner and hold his hand while Mark was in need of medical attention.
The Hollyoaks actress got terribly, so the other contestants tried to calmed her down.
