Since the start of the ITV reality, Dancing on Ice competition, people have been seeing some contestants getting injured. The others suffered scrapes, breaks and bruises on the ice.
This series of Dancing On Ice proves to be one of the most accident-prone series so far as another contestant got injured before the real performance.
Though, favorites Jorgie Porter and Matt Evers had never suffered any accidents during the early part of the competition. It is clear that they aren’t that safe as they have to cut their practice short following the time that it ended in blood and tears.
Jorgie felt shocked and stunned right after she and Evers practiced the dangerous move, 'neck spin' routine prior to tonight's live show.
People thought that the pair was far from getting an accident, but this time, the two met an accident. Actually it was only Matt that had suffered an injury as the other is responsible for cutting him.
Jorgie immediately burst into tears after accidentally cutting Evers's forehead with her blade while they are practicing the 'neck spin'. The routine tells Jorgie to wrap her legs around his throat.
She appeared heartbroken as her boot swiped across his head and stood on the ice with her head in her hands as he instantly sought medical attention.
Jorgie got worried as she skated over to his side with other contestants trying to calm her down.
According to a source of The Sun, They had rehearsed the routine without mishap before; Jorgie did get a warning from her partner that her blades were to close.
The second time was not quite lucky than the first time as Matt got caught with the metal of the skating shoe.
Matt was in no serious trouble so he immediately took to Twitter and said that he is blessed. He said that he is surrounded by the best, most professional and caring people in the world.
Afterwards, he thanks everybody and added that this won’t let them stop from competing in the said show.
Throughout this series of the talent show, former pop star Chesney Hawkes was forced to not continue on with his performance as got a broken leg. Sugababe Heidi Range got no option, except changing partners after her original professional partner Sylvain Longchambon left the reality show because of rupturing bicep.
She herself needed medical attention following the time that she suffered a dislocated rib and damaged bones in her wrist and former Dallas star Charlene Tilton and actor Corey Feldman both injured their shoulders.
