Biographical Information Born on September 25th 1973 in Hartford, Connecticut, Julie Banderas is the daughter of Howard D. Bidwell, a descendant of John Bidwell and Fabiola R, a Colombian woman. Banderas is the Spanish name that she often uses but the family name is Bidwell and with this, she is also called Julie E. Bidwell. The Hispanic lady has a sibling, a sister by the name Melissa. She is married to Andrew J. Sansone and they are blessed with a daughter Addison Melissa. She graduated from Emerson's College having been honored a bachelor's degree. Her current occupation and job title is television correspondence and she is one of the hosts of the FOX television network. She is represented in the public and corporate world by her agent Gregg Willinger. Television Career Commencement She started her career at WL VI-TV in Boston, Massachusetts. It is here that she started using her maiden name. She went on to serve as a local news anchor in Harrisonburg, Virginia for the WHSV-TV channel. Later on she joined WBRE-TV in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania and soon enough she was employed at Hartford, Virgina by the WFSB-TV channel. Later on she joined WNYW in New York. In 2005 she joined FOX news and is living her dream career there. However, the issue of her using her maiden was never understood and speculations started spreading that it her or a superior at WNYW advised her to alter her name. Television Life At Fox News At Fox news, Julie Banderas is the current host of the "Big Story Weekend" for the Fox News Channel (FNC). She joined the channel in March 2005 as a general assignment reporter. By being the host of this show, she provides an in depth and critical analysis of the day's events and highlighting the crucial key areas surrounding those stories. Her recent works, broadcasting and reporting include the providence of live updates on Hurricane Dennis from the National Hurricane Center in Miami. She reported on the much destruction it caused and damage of properties that surrounded the affected areas. Julie is also noted for reporting and covering the Natalee Holloway disappearance while at Aruba. She also provided extensive reports on the Terri Schiavo case that was proceeding in Florida. The Jessica Lunsford murder case by a registered sex offender was sufficiently covered by her. Awards and Honors While working as a weekend anchor for the WNYW-TV channel in New York, Julie Banderas was awarded the "Outstanding Single Newscast" Emmy Award in 2004 for her brilliant coverage of the Republican National Convention.
