ITV Dancing On Ice judge Katarina Witt believes that her country's secret police spied on her throughout her most intimate moments, while include some intimate moment when she had intercourse. The East German figure skater's movements got monitored and recorded by the infamous Stasi for 17 years. They were determined the two-time Olympic gold medalist must not go over to the West. The communist regime bugged Katarina’s flat and reported on her health, friendships and turbulent relationship with former trainer Jutta Muller. The 46-year-old told the Daily Mirror that she discovered the Stasi’s secret spying n her when she was only eight years old. She believes that all of her life has been spied by the German government. When she finally got hold of her Stasi file there were 3,000 pages, in 27 boxes. She got shocked and ¬horrified to think that someone has been stalking her all her life. He revealed that he went through all kinds of emotions upon finding out that the government has been spying on her. She does not like the fact that the government is watching her every move ever since she was only a child. When she turns 19, she is a Olympic champion, so she understands why her country fears her that much. However, since they have spied on her since she was eight that was too much even for her. On one occasion, agents claimed that they have listened to Katarina while having intercourse, which records the exact time she began and finished. She demanded access to her files prior to the time that they were made public and started writing her autobiography so that she could set the record straight. Katarina, who posed for Playboy in 1998, was born in Staaken, East Germany, and attended a school specially dedicated for the athletically gifted ¬children. She won gold at the Sarajevo Olympics in 1984 at age 19 and in Calgary in 1988. She also won four World Championships and six European titles, but started joining the professional ranking in 1988. It was thought of as a strange move for an East German athlete at the time and sparked rumors that she had co-operated with the Stasi. Everyone thought that the German government gave her cars and a flat so as not to defect - a rumor Katarina heatedly denies. In 1993, a political activist accused her of working for the Stasi. She got forced to write her biography at age 27 so that she could keep the facts straight.
