She is a weather
news anchor for KTTV TV in Los Angeles. She started her journalism pursuits at the University of Hawaii, before she then went out for jobs. She has the true blood for television, a fact which can be attested to by her appearance in a number of television shows and films. Some of the most notable of the television shows she has featured include the all time famous Jim Carrey and Morgan Freeman movie Bruce Almighty, criminal Minds and Everybody Hates Chris. Prior to joining her current station, Maria was a weather
news anchor for the
NBC Hawaii news 8.
She started doing weather
news in the year two thousand, and most of those close to her have been quoted as saying that she is not in the way to leave her career anytime soon, considering that she is known for pointing at cloudy features on a globe and saying that "it's going to be sunny." Interestingly enough, she has starred in world classic chart buster movies such as 24 as well. This happens to be the main reason why people will not understand what it is which makes it impossible for her to quit her weather job and then concentrate full time on movies.
As if to quiet her critics, when not in front of camera lenses, Maria is a student undertaking a meteorology degree from the Mississippi University. This is something that she has been able to achieve through corresponsive courses, which means that she does not necessarily have to go to the State University in person. Her career almost came into sharp focus when she played a murdered woman in one of the television shows, where her heart was transplanted into the body of a character hailing from Mississippi. Since then, she has always been playing non murdered women.
Other than being splashed on their television screens as the girl who tells them how the weather is going to be later on in the day, Maria has been able to work with some of Hollywood's greatest names such as Keifer Sutherland and Chris Rock. This was as a result of her pursuits in the 24 series and Everybody Hates Chris. She is known for anchoring the weather
news at her current station at six each morning and at ten as well. Maria has also worked for My13 news until the year two thousand and eight. Other than just anchoring weather news, Maria has also been involved in the building and production of weather graphics for sometime, in one of the stations she used to work for before moving to the current one that she is in.
