Though, Nicole Scherzinger got axed on X Factor USA after one season, but the former Pussy Cat Doll member now going to the UK version as a fulltime judge.
Scherzinger was a stand-in judge at the London auditions last month – and had been a guest judge at auditions on the ITV talent hit.
Talking about her new role, Nicole said: 'I’m so excited to join the UK X Factor family. It's where I got my start, so it feels great to come full circle.
And Peter Fincham, Director of Television, ITV, added: 'Nicole will bring her wealth of experience, both as a solo artist, and as a member of a group, to this year's Judging panel.
Nicole will take her role as the fourth judge on Monday.
X Factor producers were forced to search for after Dannii Minogue turned down a £1 million deal to return to the show following the time they axed Kelly Rowland.
There were other names who once take on the role of guest judge like Geri Halliwell and Mel B, Rita Ora, Anastacia and Leona Lewis, but Nicole’s name stood out from the rest.
According to the Mail Online, Mel B. is the only one who had come close to taking the judging role.
The X Factor set to make a comeback on TV screen in August, with live shows from October and Miss Scherzinger would join Gary Barlow, Louis Walsh and Tulisa Contostavlos on the judging panel.
Reports claimed that the former Pussy Cat Doll singer might sign a deal more than £500,000.
Originally, Scherzinger got hired as a co-host for the X Factor USA, which debuted in the States last year, together with Steve Jones.
However, when Cheryl Cole got axed from the show, the singer stepped in to replace her.
However, Simon Cowell dumped her, Paula Abdul and Steve Jones after the series. Cowell hired Britney Spears and Demi Lovato.
Right after her appearance at the London auditions, the star tweeted: ‘Great day w/ @theXfactor @officialtulisa @gbarlowofficial @walshlife! We saw some amazing talent! Thanks UK for always being so kind to me! #grateful
It looks like that the singer was more than happy in bringing a touch of Hollywood to the proceedings – after she held up auditions by an hour to get ready.
Everyone thought that Geri Halliwell will get the job, but after she got booed by the audience, there is no way that ITV bosses will want her on the reality show.
