Rylan’s time on the ITV talent show might be over, but Rylan Clark's showbiz career has now stepped up a notch.
On Monday morning, the wannabe singer made his debut on ITV1's Daybreak.
And he managed to performed his job remarkably well when he give Lorraine Kelly and Aled Jones the latest showbiz news in place of usual entertainments host Richard Arnold, who is on a break that would last for a week following his stint on Strictly Come Dancing.
Rylan did a fantastic job on his debut as he gave a rundown of the latest showbiz news - as well as being joined on the sofa by his former X Factor pals Union J.
Sitting pretty in front of Lorraine and Aled, Rylan seemed to be comfortable as he announced some of the latest gossip while giving his opinion on stories such as One Direction's Harry Styles being pictured with Taylor Swift.
Rylan talk about his experience on twitter, where he wrote: 'Up bright and early for @Daybreak this morning..... My guess is ill burn out by Wednesday haha x.'
The 23-year-old wore a casual look for the debut, sporting a conspicuous black V-neck T-shirt with jeans.
After introducing VTs about I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! Rylan was then joined by another former X Factor contestant Union J, who was sent home this weekend.
He told the cameras: 'Saturday night James Arthur - what a performance! But, unfortunately, someone had to leave, and it was my four little brothers Union J.'
Rylan then added: 'I've got to say these boys are the nicest boys.'
And Rylan's debut gathered different reactions from fans of the show on Twitter.
One wrote: 'So nice to see @RylanClark on #daybreak you're career is kicking off already!!! Love you Rylan!!'
Another added: 'Rylan just fab on daybreak, so natural just as if you've been doing that for years......jx.'
While interviewing Union J, they admitted how relief they are that they were out of The X Factor.
The boy band - who are made up of Jaymi Hensley, JJ Hamblett, George Shelley and Josh Cuthbert - are not proud of not participating in the grand final of the competition on Sunday, but they are happy that they would not have to experience the 'pressure' which came with starring on the ITV1 talent show.
Josh told Bang Showbiz: 'We're obviously gutted that we're not in the final, but a little bit relieved because we now don't have the pressure. Each week that goes on there is more and more pressure.
'But we're wishing the other three the best of luck, it's been the best experience of our lives, and it's going to change our lives.'
Union J booted out of the competition on Sunday after they receive the least amount of public votes, but the group are now hopes to overtake The Wanted and compete with One Direction - who finished third on 'The X Factor' in 2010 - in the charts.
Jahmene Douglas, James Arthur and Christopher Maloney are the ones who will battle it out on the 'The X Factor' final this coming Sunday.
