The two new judges of X Factor will make their appearance soon on the Fox Network reality show.
Yesterday, Simon Cowell spoke about what fans can expect from Demi Lovato and Britney in a press conference.
'Demi is a brat,' he told reporters via video link from Miami. 'But there's something likeable about her. Britney's quite mean, as you'll discover.'
Both Demi and Britney went for a studded look as they arrived to shoot the 'boot camp' sections of the X Factor in Miami. They answered all the questions alongside Cowell and judge L.A. Reid.
'I was fascinated with her as a person, as a pop star, and there's something intriguing about her,' added Cowell about Spears. 'And she's a really good judge.'
The four judges were present at the press conference so that they could promote their show as part of the Television Critics Association Press Tour.
Britney claimed she loves the idea of being a reality-show judge. 'I adore Simon, and it was something I really wanted to do,' she added.
Yesterday, the 30-year-old star, had stepped out in a black studded leather jacket, tight black jeans and spiky black heels for her appearance.
Demi wore a black T-shirt with metal studded detail, flared white skirt and platform sandals.
The 19-year-old got her hair braided into a fishtail style as she explained why she believed she was qualified to be a judge.
'I'm listening to the radio, and I know what a lot of my friends like,' she said.
'It's a really interesting thing when you bring a younger demographic to the competition. I think we know what's missing in the industry and what's needed.'
Fan will not be surprised about Britney's 'feisty streak' since a promo was released. The promo featured Britney laying into contestants with a series of withering put downs.
Fox executive Kevin Reilly also mentioned how feisty she is.
He added: 'She is not afraid to lay it on the line. She’s tough. She knows what she’s doing. She’s been around, she’s seen it all, and she definitely lays it on the line.'
Reilly also claimed that the new host for the show will be soon revealed. He/she will replace Welshman Steve Jones, who left at the end of last season.
'We’re pretty close,' he said. 'It could happen next week; it could happen in two weeks.'
Cowell said: 'Ideally I would like someone who hasn't done this before.'
