The Misteeq singer got enraged when Simon shared his thought about what Alesha Dixon said. During an audition, Simon asked the latter with 'Who are you anyway?'
The malicious remark left the fans of the ITV reality show, Britain’s Got Talent mad. Last Sunday, Simon got booed when they joined their fellow judges Amanda Holden and David Walliams on the panel.
Right after the catty comment, Alesha got reported laying into Simon behind the scenes.
According to the Daily Mirror, Everything was OK until the dance group Lil’ Diamondz – who won Alesha’s Street Dance Stars on CBBC in September – joined the reality show for an auditioned.
The 33-year-old told praised the group and commented about the group as being great. However, Simon suddenly responded with his usual comment which has insulted Alesha.
At the end of his comment, he says: 'Sorry, who are you, anyway?'
It is not expected since it was Simon who brought the former Mis-Teeq singer from BBC's Strictly Come Dancing for ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ to be one of its judges. The reality show mogul offered Alesha with a £350,000 package.
According to a source of the paper: It was obvious the singer felt slighted. It is easy to tell since she clammed up and appeared embarrassed.
Simon was just acting his usual self and never got bothered that he had just caused so much upset for his fellow judge.
'Alesha did not want to cause a scene during the show as there are audiences that were watching them. However, it was not the same when they got behind closed doors.
For a star like Alesha, it was degrading for her caliber that anyone would suggest that she is just a nobody, even if it comes from TV mogul such as Simon Cowell.
After the show, the Misteeq singer got seen rushing to her dressing room.
Alesha knows her right in the show and knew that everything that she had said in the show is valid.
According to a friend of Simon Cowell, the whole comment was not an act to humiliate her fellow judge.
For Simon, it was just part of the show. He always does it whenever he tries to liven up the show.
By the next day, Alesha was denying the rumours in Twitter about the judges having an argument. She claimed that the whole thing was purely made-up.
The group Lil’ Diamondz advance to the next round when they got four yeses from the judges.
