However, it is the other way around with Tulisa Contostavlos. The British ITV reality show judge got a little help from her friends on the most painful day for newly single. Tulisa was able to put her recent break-up with N-Dubz bandmate Fazer to the back of her mind.
The 23-year-old tweeted got a picture of her partying with PA Gareth Varey, and a few other pals yesterday.
In one of the photos, she was holding some pink balloons and Valentines-themed presents, writing 'sI love my boys...they got me..nuff love x.'
She then went to tweet how appreciate the hotdog given to her by Corey Chorus. Joke about asking for her Valentines cards and the flowers that she should get since they were dating.
Tulisa does not take things too serious.
For some, spending the V day alone would often result to scoffing calorie-laden hot dogs and wearing garish yellow rain ponchos.
However, that is not the case with Tulisa Contostavlos as she could not have cared less while enjoying a day out at Universal Studios in LA this week.
Proving she is just a big kid at heart, like everyone else in the world.

Her carefree attitude to food seems to work for the star, who got pictured while showing off a hugely enviable bikini body earlier at her hotel pool.

The N-Dubz star soaked up the sunshine while dipping her feet into the pool and strolling around the balcony at the trendy Standard hotel.
She stacked her long brunette hair into a high bun and unlike so many other celebrities, remained make-up free and natural as she swam and sunbathed.
Tulisa was with her assistant Gareth Varey, who has accompanied the star on her Los Angeles sojourn so that she could record new material for her upcoming solo album.
