Though, the number can still be considered good, but this is a drop from the numbers that the show gets last year. The number of viewers had dropped to 1.4 million. The drop raises some about whether the public is tiring of the format.
The bosses of ‘The Apprentice’ hopes that the ratings will improve as Lord Sugar host the programme.

Stella English was the last lucky candidate who got a job from the business tycoon.
However, some insiders believe that Estella was unhappy with her job and got transferred after six months. She got a new job as an assistant to Lord Sugar in his role as chair of YouView.
However, she believes that the new work does not need enough work, so she is suing the tycoon for constructive dismissal.
Last year’s victor, Tom Pellareau has gotten off with his first product – an s-shaped nail file – this is not his idea.
The 2009 winner Yasmina Siadatan took a £100,000-a-year job working for Lord Sugar’s company Amscreen Health Care, which sells digital signage to the NHS.
However, she got pregnant with her boyfriend who also works in the same company. She left the company because of her pregnancy.
Tim Campbell is the only winner that makes the Tycoon proud since he is very successful now.
