What does it take to be the most watched cable news show in the
United States of America? If you would like to know just ask the producers of The O'Reilly Factor. Since its launch in late 1996 The O'Reilly Factor's audience has grown to over 3.5 million viewers per night, and has broadcasted 4321 episodes as of August 6, 2008. Hosted by conservative commentator
Bill O'Reilly; The O'Reilly Factor is all about
news, political, and social issues. This show is always a breath of fresh air because most
news commentary shows today seem to be reading for the same script, there are hardly any original views and everything seems to be manufactured.
The O'Reilly Factor is presented in a "Live to Tape" manner except when there is
breaking news to be covered or special events to be featured. The show is carried out in an almost perfect manner with little or no mistakes and I would expect nothing less from Fox. The O'Reilly Factor has even featured presidential candidates; during the 2008 presidential election campaign senator Hilary Clinton and Barack Obama were both featured in interviews on The O'Reilly Factor. Surprisingly Sarah Palin choose not to appear on the program during this time.
Several parodies of The O'Reilly Factor have been made, most of which are in good taste. Shows such as The Boondocks, The Colbert Report, Saturday Night Live, and The Political Machine have all featured parodies of The O'Reilly Factor at one time or another, and
Bill O'Reilly has even appeared in a few of these parodies.
If you are looking for a
news commentary with strong conservative views, check out The O'Reilly Factor. This program is presented in an almost flawless manner, so it is no surprise that more cable viewers watch this
news show than any other. If you happen to miss a particular segment or just want to hear it again; you can check out their website. Here you will find all recent segments of the show uploaded and ready to watch. The website also features polls, an RSS feed, and other little things you would not be able to access from your television.
So what are you waiting for? Go check out this show! Just keep in mind that this is only a news commentary and should always be treated as such. If you are looking for "
