The ITV2 reality stars may have been used to their rich lifestyle, but last night shows prove that the girls can leave even without the luxury that got forced fed on them.
Lauren Goodger, together with the other casts of TOWIE that includes Peri Sinclair, Frankie Essex and Lauren Pope slipped on aprons and used frying pans as they cooked for charity work.
The OnlyWay Is Essex stars were The TV stars were backing the fight against poverty campaign by Live Below the Line, a reality TV show that challenge rich people if they could live the day with just £5 to spare for five days, wherein they need to purchase their own foods and drinks.
The four women want to raise awareness about the fight against poverty, so they took it upon themselves to cook a meal by means of the most basic ingredients at the Shoreditch Waterhouse restaurant.
Goodger and Sinclair won the cook off since they are the ones that had managed to cook a tasty-looking meat balls from scratch.
The two reality stares had proven that they could come up with a dish that had peas as their main ingredient.
Despite losing the reality show cook-off, Frankie felt positive about the whole experience.
Though, the challenge was fun, the stars who participated in the show seemed to understand that cause and purpose of the show is better than anything else.
Pose said that the thought of leaving for just £1 daily is madness. She is proud of herself since she supported the campaign as she learned a lot from the experience. She encouraged other people to sponsor the reality show, so that many people will have something to eat on their table.
However, it is not only the girls of TOWIE that supports the campaign. Some of the boy members of the ITV2 reality show are also showing their support by budgeting.
James Argent noted that £1 a day is not enough for some people, but some people are leaving their lives with that money to spend in a day. He then added that the ‘Live Below the Line has put his own lifestyle into perspective. He is proud to say that he is supporting the challenge.
Starting May 7-11, thousands of people across the UK is going to spend just £1 a day on food and drink, and use their daily experiences in bringing extreme poverty to the front of conversation in homes and workplaces.
Participants, who had signed up for the challenge has the opportunity of supporting organizations that fight extreme poverty around the world such as Christian Aid, Malaria No More UK, Restless Development, RESULTS UK, The Salvation Army, UNICEF UK and a lot more.
