When Simon Cowell left American Idol back in 2010, everyone thought that they have seen the last of most hated judge in the reality show, in America. After a year, Simon Cowell goes back to America, but not as a judge for the American Idol show; instead, he is going to be one of the judges on the rival of American Idol, X Factor.
X Factor US is going to start on September 21 and 22. The show is going to have a four-hour long TV premiere, so FOX network decided to cut it into halves. The series was a big hit in the UK, now tries to capture the American audience. Once again, Simon will be insulting the contestant. Simon is going to be joined by three judges. Former Pussycat Doll vocalist, Nicole Scherzinger, veteran record-label executive, Antonio L.A. Reid, and another former American Idol judge, Paula Abdul.
The winner of the reality show is going to get a $5 million contract, and a Pepsi commercial set to appear on air in Super Bowl.
Both L.A. and Nicole agreed that they are like students to the veteran judges such as the TV mogul, Simon Cowell and the former pop star, Paula Abdul. They watched the show “American Idol” before and they know how passionate the two judges at judging other people. They are the very people that created the reality show.
Abdul agrees that Simon and she are the prime judges since they got the more experience than the other two judges. During her interview, Abdul noted that her relationship with Cowell has a resemblance with her relationships with her dogs.
Abdul said that before anyone would become a judge, they must be familiar with the stuff that the contestants are doing. They must be comfortable with the other judges and the contestants so that they could give their best for the job. She believes that she and Simon are two opposing sides. It would work since that is there comforting sides.
When both of them left “the reality show, American Idol back in 2009 and 2010 correspondingly, a lot of people believe that would be the end of the reality show. However, the show got its magic back when veteran singers Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler joined that the reality show as judges.
Simon admits he is happy about the fact that his former reality TV show still existing, but he added that he will not back out from his former reality TV show.
